The Solar Garden, alternative sources of energy center

The Solar Garden of Israel is an earthy, hands-on educational initiative that designed specially to promote a deep awareness of using the sources of green energy and the environmental technologies among the people of Israel. This The Solar Garden has aimed to inspire and influence the growth of a leading industry of green energy through the educational process. Their special kind of educational activities and sustainability programs offer hands-on experience to the participants by providing the practical tools and knowledge. They mostly feature three major topics like soil, waste, and energy. This idealistic center is located in Binyamina of Israel, which is nearly 40 km south of the Haifa on the Mediterranean Sea shore. This The Solar Garden focuses majorly on the solar energy and many other sources of the energy power. They develop some small-scale techniques for environment preservation like recycling projects on various reusable products or garbage sorting, production of aquaponic and the compost systems. In Israel, the Solar garden can be the best educational place for your kid.

History

This project was first initiated in January 2011 by Yaniv Fieldust. His main concern was the environment issue in Israel and lack of awareness about that among the people of Israel. They also develop many projects in the school and help the kids to develop an awareness of the environment. Not only the founders but the Solar Garden now maintains by the volunteers too.

Philosophy

Solar Garden is full of the ideas that how to use the solar energy with the solar panels. Recycling the papers, making tea with solar energy, recycling the water, the best method to use the water are some major works that you can witness in the center. Their motto is to develop an environmental awareness among the adults and kids of Israel and to make them environment-friendly.

Activities

Solar Garden offers you a tour including a short-term film to guests with interactive displays. These tours are suitable for all age’s groups and the tours conducted by the knowledgeable guides.

The volunteers of the team can organize the seminars and workshops in the garden and also in other places about organic gardening, green building and more.

The Solar Garden provides the educational tours for groups, families, summer camps, youth groups of Jewish culture, travel agencies etc.

One can join the Green Wall educational projects for Public Park, schools and the recreational facilities of municipalities.
