MROF are Lawson Armstrong, Laura Bailey & our young family. We live & work on our new small farm in the beautiful Margaret River region of Western Australia. And we love it!
Our aim is to revive healthy connections between country, animals and community by producing nutrient-rich, delicious food for locals.
Lawson’s family are fourth generation farmers. With a degree in viticulture he specialised in growing organic & biodynamic grapes for 12 years. During that time, Lawson achieved organic certification for 3 different properties. Laura’s background is in sustainability education and permaculture.
Happily, we’re now living our dream on our own farm in conversion to organic certification. Transparency is important to us & certification represents the only current system in which consumers can have real confidence that their food producers are not cutting any corners… While we are not yet certified, we always have & always will go way beyond the Australian Organic Standards in our practices.
We use regenerative methods to step beyond ‘sustainable agriculture’ & actually REVITALISE our environment! Over the last 20 years we have undertaken extensive training across the globe on best practices to nurture biologically rich soils, healthy plants & happy animals. We use biodynamic preparations, brews from MasHumus, Elaine Ingham inspired compost teas, Holistically Managed rotational grazing, low-stress stock handling techniques & more.
We share our learnings & experiences to help create a healthier future for our land, our food systems & our community.
