History
Some facilities are new here, but not the establishment. It was first founded in the January of 1983 and founded by the Nahals, a group of people from Jerusalem, Haifa, Yam, and Nahariya. It is important to mention here that the Kibbutz is actually allied with the movement of Kibbutz HaArtzi. Here the name Elifaz has come from Eliphaz, from the Book of Job. In the year 2012, this place raised as the first kibbutz of Israel that accepted the Druze residence. There is also a solar field of Arava Power Company. This place comes under the jurisdiction of Israel’s Hevel Eilot Regional Council.
Philosophy
