History
Kfar Kedem is located on the Route 77 of Israel just beside the Hamovil intersection. In the year of 1992, this place was founded first in Menachem Goldberg’s Hoshaya settlement. This place includes nearly 4 acres of native ancient Israeli trees and vegetation. It reconstructs the ancient Jewish life during the period of Mishnah of Galilee. Kfar Kedem is situated just next to the Tzippri, the home of the Sanhedrin. Kfar Kedemhas was opened for the public in the year 1992 and the journey begins here after a short lecture.
Kfar Kedem is a large community of the Orthodox Jewish families and they are committed to give you a holistic experience by using your senses that the real process to production of the household staples like wool, milk, bread etc and connecting those experiences with the spirit and values of the ancient age and another old community Mishnah, who are still very much a part of the Israeli communities. The Kfar Kedemfollows a deep motto to provide you an enriched spiritual and historical context by their well experienced knowledgeable and professional guides. Another philosophy of the Kfar Kedem is to provide their guests a warm hospitality and delicious experience of rustic food in the shepherd’s tent.
This Kfar Kedem can organize special activity or event for maximum 250 guests at a time.
There you can take a part of the activities like wheat to bread, where you can see and learn how the bread made from the wheat.
Another activity is the Greener Pastures, where you can learn to make cheese from milk, making the clothes from wool etc.
