The fruit packing house is owned by Sadeh and Margalit families from Moshav Nov. Since 1997, Migdal has been marketing and selling a wide variety of fruits: apple, nectarine, peach, plum, pear, apricot, pomegranate, orange, clementine, lemon. Most of the fruits are marketed to the local market – all over the country, and a small part to export abroad – mainly southern Europe.
The tour, “Magic of the Fruit , “ comes to allow people to see firsthand the way the fruit goes from tree to house.
Authentic Agriculture
The orchards were not planted for visitors, but for growing and selling to the markets in Israel. On the tour you can meet the other side where the fruits come to the writers and shops. You can see a plantation that was planted yesterday, pass by workers picking or meeting the biological solutions to treat pests.
A tour of the picket train
During the ride stop to pick fruit from the season and discover how delicious fruit is picked straight from the tree. You can also fill a basket of fruit home, and buy it at a separate fee at the end of the tour. The tour is neglected in the packing house, so that during the visit you can see all the way from the orchards to the truck.
