William Driscoll III (Bill Sr.) has been in the food business since 1958. He is HACCP certified. He worked for his uncle in the Italian sausage business. In 1964 he started his own company, Capitol Sausage and expanded to selling fruits and vegetables in Hartford CT.
William Driscoll IV (Bill Jr.) has also been in the family business since 1983. He worked in the family business buying, selling and delivering Connecticut wholesale fruits and vegetables. He has since grown the company to what it is today. Now he is a valuable asset in overseeing and working hands on in the production plant at Heart of the Harvest.
Lisa Driscoll has also been in the produce business since 1987. She started working for her father as a bookkeeper, worked in sales and became office manager. She now works with her husband and father in law at Heart of the Harvest.
Rebecca Wagner is our Q & A manager. She is our new Quality & Assurance Manager. She graduated from Washington State with a degree in Food Science, and University of Hartford with an Associates in Biology and Business. Rebecca is a great addition to our team.
